Mama Pho - Reservar uma mesa

Went to get a rice paper roll. Place all setup for service, little display dipping sauces out etc. Service staff walk past me and say we are not open, we open at 10 , yes just like that, no sorry we aren 't open even though we have food in display cabinet and look like we are. I said Oh what is the time? , no reply. I pull out my phone and and it was 9:56am. Part of me felt like standing at the counter for four minutes staring at them, waiting for the clock to tick over to the magical 10:00am, but couldn 't be bothered. Went and spent my money with someone more deserving. Is it possible you could perhaps have a sign at the counter displaying when you open so that I can work it out myself and...

3.5 Christmas shopping started seriously tonight so grabbed a quick dinner on late night shopping. I’ve been craving Bao buns recently and Mama Pho did a huge version filled up nice and plump. We went for the bbq quicken baos which had plenty of flavour although the chicken was drowning in sauce. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries which were good ...healthier than the potato version hey!

$9.50 for a banh mi yet leaving much to be desired. Ingredients could have been much fresher. BBQ chicken could have been less salty. Perhaps the bun itself could be less dry. Even though the serving isn’t that big, I struggled to finish it because it just didn’t taste right. I would suggest avoiding this place if you are craving genuine banh mi.

Unfortunately not up to the mark with the rice paper rolls this time. They were a bit dry on the edges and the flavours were lacking. I tried the lemongrass beef salad and the roast chicken salad roll and didn’t find they impressed. Very bland and even with the sauce there wasn’t a lot of improvement.

This place seems like an exact copy of rolld but the flavours just aren't there Pho broth is super tasteless even when you add condiments. Sucks bc it seemed like a good foodcourt option
