I have been getting Mama Maria's pizza every few months over the past few years for take-out. I have to say, the pizza is solid, ingredients are fresh. We were about to do the same and decided to dine in and order pastas and other things off of the menu. I have to admit, I was in but if a shock when I saw the menu, prices most definitely have gone up and are not as listed on their website. Plain pasta with olive oil, add 6 shrimp and broccoli will cost you about $30. It was good, but by no means $30 good. We were equally disappointed when the $18 lasagna came. Probably the worse lasagna we have ever had, and I promise we are not picky people. It was thin, tough to chew, and way too much rico...
First time eating here, 2 of us with mixed results. Started with bruschetta appetizer was good. Dinner bread perfect, oil cheese on table. Salad with Italian dressing good,other than spices clumped at bottom of small dressing cup which needed mixing. Main course-Rigatoni di Joey Pesto with perfect tasting sauces were excellent, extra Italian sausage was terrible-hard, chewy tasted 2 weeks old. Server was friendly,and made one mistake charging me full price $6 for on special $3.50 Heineken beer, in a Blue Moon glass ha ha. She corrected bill at end. Table spacing too close with little privacy. Overall, a good meal, not cheap and worth a stop. Outdoor seating was available, but we ate inside.
We had a wonderful experience at Mama Mia, especially considering the size of our party and the short notice we gave them. Our server handled everything flawlessly, and everyone left very happy. The pizza was fantastic, and the appetizers arrived promptly. They managed to deliver all our drinks with ease. This place is perfect for large groups, but I’m sure they go above and beyond for smaller gatherings as well!
This restaurant is phenomenal, consistently offering the highest quality food. We absolutely love their pizza and a variety of pasta dishes. We eat here at least once a week. We've celebrated birthdays, graduations, and even hosted rehearsals, and everyone raves about the food. It's a fantastic establishment, well-managed by a wonderful family. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We had a large group of 20 so we did family style eating and each course went flawless in transition. The staff did a great job and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you for such a great experience. We can not wait to come back! I highly recommend the vodka sauce it was next level.
Drove 45 miles to have a nice dinner with my wife and this is one of those places we come back home for. Chicken parmigiana was ridiculous tender and good. Some of the best baked clams there are. Pizza is one of the best. No question. Great waitstaff and great family owner. Open a store in Channahon!!
Ordered catering for Mother's Day without ever having tasted their food! Went off of reviews! Everything was a hit!!! The salad dressing for the chopped salad was superb! Vodka rigatoni, Chicken parm and Big Mamma pizza was outstanding! Will definitely be back! Thank you!!!
Mamma Maria serves excellent pizza. I visited last week and tried their cheese and sausage pizza. The cheese was top-notch Grande cheese that melts in your mouth, and the sausage is made in-house. This pizza is bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place! Reserve uma mesa agora
