Mankas Backdoor Grill

Loved it! Being big fans of Lindsey’s BackDoor Bistro in Vacaville, we couldn’t wait to try her new Mankas BackDoor Grill. We weren’t disappointed! Staff was terrific and the food excellent. We started with a beet salad which was light and delicious. My husband had salmon with a curry sauce on the side and ginger carrots. Perfectly prepared. I had the filet mignon which was superb! Wrapped in bacon, truffles, and haricot vert. Full bar and adequate wine list. Would highly recommend it.

as have eaten several times at the location vacaville, my expectations may be high. no suppen spoon with suppe until he was asked. weinglas had excess wein on the bottom of glass that would have gotten light on clothes. two of us next to an appetizer ordered the garnel with grits. very centered the road in quality. will try again, but can wait in the hope that they can work the “clinics” from their menu.

the service and eating were absolutely excellent! the entire staff was very attentive, from andrea, the host who sits our request to change the, to our server dante, to eric, the general manager review with all guests to ensure that everything was on place. new owner/cook lindsay chelini knocks it out of the park!

music on the terrace every Tuesday night around 2 of the best in the opposite: chris and rob. therefore we were there! love the ambiente. david, our server, was exceptional. eat delicious, but a bit expensive to do this too often. but I will come back and bring some more friends next time!
