the fact that this is the closest place that serves Dominican food, I think is what makes this restaurant have the audacity that it did. I spent $28.00 on 2 meals, which me and my fiancé drop money on great food with the quickness so we weren 't stressing it! It 's the quality of food and quantity of food we received. I got the carne guisado (so I thought I did) it was literally just chunks of super dry beef that you can tell was microwaved in the flavorless but over acidic broth. It had no love ! No herbs or aromatics!!! No potato, no carrots! I was so disappointed but the portion size made it even worse! The rice came cold although we ate it right in the parking lot, the beef stew came in...

I traveled all the way from Richmond VA, just to try the food and to see how the vibe of this place was, and I’m telling you this is worth the 3 hours drive and more, the food was amazingly, perfectly, greatly delicious, very tasty. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to eat like they at DR!!!! The vibe and food are just like home, loved every minute and the customer service!!

Food is amazing. I’ve travelled to Dominican Republic multiple times and this food is better than what I ate there. The people are gracious and friendly. My only problem was the music. It was before 4 PM and so loud we couldn’t hold a conversation. I ended up with a headache. Unbearable. Everything else: 10 out of 10.

Best Dominican food in the DMV!!! The music was way too loud, so it was hard to have a conversation after 6 pm.
