"A super little farm shop, with top quality produce. I initially found the place during lock-down, and have returned regularly ever since. The cafe has closed, but there is a small coffee hut available close to the exit."

Sunday lunch at the café. Well where do i start. We had the beef yes all4of us) and we'll most definitely be going back to try the lamb. This was probably up there with the best Sunday lunch I've ever had if not the best. Only one in my memory stands comparison. The generous and really thick slices of beautifully tender beef were placed in a large Yorkshire pudding . Red cabbage , tenderstem brocolli and swede and carrot mixed were on the plate along with roast potatoes and we had a large lovely bowl of cauliflower cheese too. It was all perfectly cooked, and the beef was melt in your mouth tender. Add to that lovely attentive staff and the £14.95 for this seemed a bargain. The beef is appar...

I happened across the café restaurant at March House Farm by accident. On my first visit I had coffee and cake but the place is so clean and well lit I had to come back. Today I've sampled the full all day breakfast. Made from their own produce and my goodness it was tasty and VERY filling. The quality of the food was exceptional and lots of it. I had trouble finishing it. I would say that it's the best breakfast that I've had in the area actually THE best and it's very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and polite, service is quick and food delivery second to none. This is a place that sets a VERY high standard which, in my experience, will be hard for others to achieve. I was s...

Stopped by on our way back from Leicester for coffee and lunch. Our first impressions were not great, as the staff in the shop didn't even bother to give us eye contact or say hello. The customer service was poor, especially considering there was nobody else in the shop. It's not difficult to instruct staff to make an effort and be friendly to customers, is it? However, the cafe was a different story, with attentive and friendly staff. The sandwich and soup we had were okay but a bit pricey for what we got. Overall, the experience was average, but we were hoping for more.

We went to the farm shop. Asked the butcher to debone three chicken thighs he charged £3 more to do that for us. That is very expensive for a job of all of 2 minutes. We put them back on the shelf, boned thighs are £15 a kilo) not being ripped off. We had 4 burgers 2 lamb and to beef, couldn’t tell the difference and they set the bbq alight. We had honey and musurd sausages and couldn’t taste either. The free range eggs where delicious. Reserve uma mesa agora

Visited with a friend. Although not easy to find initially, a warm welcome in a very clean and exceptionally well furnished large cafe. Good choice from scones/ cakes to breakfasts and main meals. Reasonably priced and served by friendly staff. Good conveniences and deli alongside cafe a bonus. Plenty of free parking and will be returning for sure

Popped into marchouse farm today and realised that the new restaurant was open, so decided to give it a go. My wife had a blt I had a treble cheese toasty both of which were excellent. We washed this down with some freshly squeezed orange juice, again excellent. The price also was very reasonable the decor well presented comfortable

I was greatly disappointed by the service at this restaurant. After being seated, we were completely ignored for 20 minutes before deciding to leave. Although the farm shop had some appealing produce, our negative experience in the restaurant ultimately deterred us from making any purchases there. Reserve uma mesa agora

We bought a pork pie, sausage rolls and a large s steak kidney pie at Burghley House market. We are yet to eat the steak kidney pie but the sausage rolls and Melton Mowbray pork pie were both tasteless. Would not buy again and would not recommend totally overpriced. I
