I love Italian beef. Every beef I've gotten in the Springs has been dry and not very good, and honestly too expensive for what you get. Except this place. Margo's is fantastic. I got a brat and a beef, and although the brat brought me back to the little stand across from the reptile place at the Minnesota State Fair, the beef was easily one of the best I've ever had. I'm honestly surprised this place doesn't have a line around the block. Go out of your way if you have to. It's totally worth it.
Top notch. Remember that Chicago skyline with every bite. Italian beef, Chicago dogs. Magnificent experience, in my opinion. Enjoy fast service and enjoy in the sun. Remember that Italian beef sandwiches are a timed event. Italian au jus , I tell them I want enough on it, so self-destruction timer is set for 5 minutes. It's always in my belly in less than 00:04:20 .
I called the location to ask a question. They answer the call by shouting at you they close at 4, and hang up the call. They don't allow you to speak, or ask what you originally called for. I tried again, and same thing happen. Very disrespectful. They don't have good customer service! Would not spend my money, where I am not respected.
