Marine Fish - Reservar mesa

I have been dining at The Marine on and off for years and have generally had a positive experience until recently. The last two times I visited, I noticed that the portion sizes had decreased significantly while the prices had gone up. The quality of the fish was not great and the chips seemed like they were reheated leftovers from lunch. I ended up throwing most of them away. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant.

Passing through and picked up a fish supper around half 4 on a Saturday afternoon to take down to the harbour to eat. It really was awful, very greasy. An oily taste overpowered the taste of the fish and the chips. Won’t be back there.

The food was adequate, do not get the peas absolutely horrendous, no prices on the board, staff seemed a bit miserable, could be a whole lot better, especially if they let you know how much anything is, not the best place to eat.

God awful place. Chips were barely edible. Staff confused and unhappy. No prices showing board is blank. Overpriced £7.70 for 1 small chips n a chips/cheese. Needs new owners and a complete revamp. Reserve uma mesa agora

You seriously cannot beat this place for a fish supper... under a tenner for two good sized pieces of fresh fish chips tea and bread and real butter. You would be daft not to!

Enormous portions of great food. Well priced too. Would have liked to eat in but missed restaurant by minutes. Still nothing better than fish and chips out of the paper.

I highly recommend the fish and chips at Marine restaurant. The fish was slightly over-fried, resulting in an extremely crispy texture, but it was still very tasty.

I'm tired of bland, soggy fries, but the ones here were wonderfully crispy and flavorful. The black pudding was surprisingly large and incredibly tender. Reserve uma mesa agora

Very poor quality of fish and chips were very black and tasteless. Staff rude and not very happy looking. Would not recommend this chippy.

Have to say that am very happy to have this fish bar close by. Staff and food are excellent and prices very very reasonable indeed.
