Marmotte - Reservar uma mesa

I was excited to visit La Marmotte with my partner, it was meant to be a romantic, idyllic location with perfect mountain views.. sadly the views were the only positive thing about La Marmotte. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with an unenthusiastic welcome.. in fact, given we were a little past the 8pm requirement (why have such a rigid requirement on a Saturday night? I was spoken to with slight contempt and told that we had to make a choice given the kitchen was shortly closing, that is not a way to build a rapport with customers and locals in my opinion, a restaurant should go out of its way for customers, that is a way to build a reputation and get repeat business, this concep...

Six of us ate here for my husband's birthday in early October and had the restaurant almost to our ourselves. Between us we ordered a wide variety of dishes and all were superb. We returned a couple of days later for a light lunch so that we could enjoy the views during daylight hours on the terrace and again enjoyed great food, drinks and service.

Located in the small hamlet of Les Planards, a 1km uphill drive or walk from Carrefour (or, in winter, a 1km ski down from Savoyleres), this is a lovely chalet restaurant with amazing views and lovely staff. Good choice of food, local dishes too, it’s well worth a visit at any time of the year (sometimes only by skis)

We have been clients of la Marmotte for many years. The views are amazing, the food quite average. We had a very bad experience today with very bad service and bad attitudes. Wow ,Marmotte, do not take your clientele for granted. There is no reason to treat people badly and have rude wait staff.

We came back for a second time just for their special Suisse Tiramisu. The restaurant is in a great location, accessible by car and in the middle of the beautiful hiking trail. Amazing view on Verbier, and a playground for the kids. Very friendly staff,
