Martini's On Water Street

Over the last six months, we have visited Martini’s several times, and typically, everything is quite good—usually a solid 4 to 5-star experience. However, our recent visit on Friday was marred once again by the tall blond bartender. His attitude towards customers is often unfriendly, and he seems indifferent to what the menu specifies for each drink; he just prepares them however he prefers. On one occasion, I ordered a drink that I had also had previously prepared by another bartender, a dark-haired male. Our first drink, a spicy margarita with a Tajin rim, was good. However, we had to wait longer than expected for our second drink, which was prepared by a different bartender. Unfortunately, it was served in the same glass with barely any salt left, and it tasted terrible. It has been years since I sent a drink back, but this time I felt compelled to do so. The margarita was overly sweet and lacked any noticeable alcohol. The first bartender was kind enough to remake it, but once again, it was served in the same unclean glass and without any salt. Garrett is a great mixologist! I highly recommend him. I went in not knowing what I wanted to drink and he was able to recommend a drink and went above and beyond to deliver two drinks to me. Also my husband is not fond of martinis and he crafted two drinks for him and they were wonderfully mixed drinks that only a trained mixologist could make. I would recommend Garrett and will be back!

The other reviews are correct. They advertise higher end liquors and sell you well liquor. Very disappointing. I ordered a Vesper martini, should have been Tangueray and Pinnacle but I watched him pull straight from the wells. Plus, he used the wrong portions. Those who know..know. Reserve uma mesa agora

Great place. I don 't drink often, but the martinis were freaking amazing! The service was very good from the servers. The bouncer was insanely nice, too. This is definitely a place I 'd come back to for a casual hangout with friends.

The bar's decor feels a bit outdated. The live music was excessively loud, making it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere or hold a conversation. However, our female bartender was attentive and clearly knowledgeable about her craft.

Great service and friendly fun staff. Always a good time and my favorite spot. Sadly I am leaving Peoria and cannot take this place with me! I love this bar!
