Stayed here for 4 nights as a base to visit Northumberland. Friendly place with a great breakfast to start the day off. Rooms well decorated and comfy bed. Would highly recommend and will visit again when in area.

Clean and friendly pub, stayed two nights. Very friendly staff and customers made us very welcome. Pub is also in CAMRAs 2024 edition, Good Beer Guide. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Called in as passing by , very friendly and welcoming by locals, they'd had some leek competition there wow never seen leeks so big. Great atmosphere and thank we loved it
