Matchbox Diner Drinks

the service was super and friendly. my beer came into a frost cup! that was okay. when I ordered chips and cheese, I expected that melted comminuted cheeses did not get liquid cheese products as they were in a casino or cessation stand. the chicken sandwich and the burger had a good taste, but were boiled to a customs of their life and dry. I would go back, but would suggest to change in real cheese and add salad/tomato to their chicken sandwiches and burgers and not cook all moisture from them.

the service was terrible. we sat and waited well 20 minutes, only until the server took our drinks orders. the table next to us was sat and immediately greeted. they were not even so busy. we just felt ignored. we usually have quite good service there, but today it was just terrible. not sure what's going on, but our waitress wasn't friendly at all. she had green hair. we had the waitress with blond hair and she is always super sweet and attentive. no fan today.

I don't think I ever had a bad meal here. tonight the chefs specialist andouille wurst, kaper and blistered tomaten. I went for the special and it was all as good as I thought it was. when they go to dinner or lunch, do not miss the best clam chowder in grand rapids. they will love it through the cup or a bowl

matchbox is the best. I've been here a few times and they're never disappointed. it is the perfect place to meet after a day for dinner and drinks.
