Matsui - Reservar mesa

Stopped in for an early dinner. They had a dinner special which included: a small udon (or soba), about 7 nigiri sushi (salmon,tuna,hamachi, anago, shrimp (cooked), etc), tempura (1 shrimp 4 veggies), a small green salad rice. VERY tasty a great value. Also had nabeyaki udon. 2 shrimp tempura 3 veg tempura on the side. The udon was topped with chicken an egg. The dashi broth was really good. They were out of several sakes we chose, but we found one we liked. Wait staff was quick attentive. It's a cute little place. Although we arrived early (415-ish), by the 7pm, the place was packed. Would totally come back to try other items since we were so happy with the tempura, and remainder of meal.

Great Japanese food here. We ordered the eel bowl (Una Don) combination and the Manager's Special. It was a large amount of food and was very good. Service was a little slow, but they did come by often to check on us. The dining area as well as the bathrooms were clean. If I lived close to here, I'd definitely come back to try more menu items.

Always a good idea to go here. Service was fast and the servers are very attentive. Had the Go Go Matsui Bowl, a staple when going here. This tine though, the sauce was strangly salty. The serving was pretty big so I had to ask for a box. All in all good experience.Food: 5/5

I really enjoy meeting my mom here for lunch. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. This is my favorite spot in Torrance. Just be ready to wait if you arrive during the lunch rush! Reserve uma mesa agora

I enjoyed a flavorful clay pot of nabeyaki udon. It was served steaming hot and was filled with plenty of vegetables and chicken, along with two delicious shrimp tempura. Overall, it was delightful! Food rating: 4/5.

First time trying then found a fly inside the udon soup. Complained and server promised it would not be charged, but she charged it anyway until being confronted with sour face. Will never come back.Food: 1/5

It says that it closes at 9:30 but it closes at 8 very early so don't plan on going to dinner here unless you get here very early.
