I usually have good experiences with Mattinglys, but the visit service we received last night was surprisingly bad. Let me paint the scene: We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and placed our beverage orders (2 water 2 sodas... there were a total of 4 people). The drinks arrived fast, which was great. But our waiter didn't ask if he was willing to order an appetizer... what we did. About 5 minutes later he returned and we placed the order for our 2 appetizers (Spinach Dip and Fried Pickles). 5 minutes later we put the order for our main course (1 pizza, 3 salads, 1 buffalo pack and 6 wings)... that was at 6:45. We spent about 20 minutes at the table before we wondered where our appetizers were. We hadn't...
The food was easy, the staff was nice. I ordered them to go. When I was waiting for my food, a customer came back to return their pizza and cheese frits. The pizza was burned and the cheese on the frits. Okay, it happens that I understand. I got my order and took it home to eat. I opened the plastic bag and got my food to discover that they forgot my pages and my chicken was also burned. My husband ordered a chicken bacon quadilla, it was mediocre and nothing to rave. I called that my crushed chicken was burned and my pages didn't get, they were nice and gave me my meal back. Make yourself a favor and eat before you get there.
