Maurya's Rest. .banquet

My husband and I had dinner at Maurya’s last week, and it was truly excellent. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. A real highlight was the wonderful cocktails. The bartender will check in with you about your palate and preferred flavours and will tailor your chosen concoction specifically to your palate! This is a service I’ve never seen elsewhere and it pays off, the cocktails are really out of this world. I started with a Tamarind Margarita. I was almost reluctant to try the Cardamom Dream, not being sure I would like it as much, but it was every bit as lovely in its own way. We have vegetables to start and 2 lamb dishes for meals. Everything was delicious, lamb was perfectly cooked. The craft cocktails don't sound like something I would normally order, but we tried anyway and they were great. The service was different from any other restaurant we felt so welcomed and appreciated. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. I would very suggest in food and experience their service and environment, it was really amazing.

If you are in the Kamloops region, it is easy. Hands down the phenomenal Indian food we ever had. And the cocktails were the next stage! If we lived in Kamloops, we'd be here every day. I don't even have the words to explain how amazing our experience was at Maurya the wonderful food, drinks, service and cold atmosphere we can't wait to go back!

We went and experienced the off-menu Valentine's dinner this year and were absolutely blown away. The combination of storytelling, the impeccable service and the almost too good for Kamloops food was perfection. Each course was a surprise and paired with a fresh, new cocktail. It's an investment, but we'd do it again.

We just visited Chef Dilips OFF-MENU experience! The menu has been designed carefully, the food is perfectly prepared and served with hearty stories. It was a taste extravaganza that will not soon be forgotten.
