McDonald's - Reservar uma mesa

First of all this one is beside an Ibis budget just off a roundabout and you feel as if you are driving into a back yard. The server was pretty pleasant. Now the downsides - you can only order via machine and you tell the machine where you will sit for table service. This isn't progress. If you want to pay cash the machine spits out a receipt or you can use plastic. Despite all this they still manage to serve up cold fries and lukewarm burgers. You can't easily personalise your food order either; extra onion, hold mayo, no ice etc. I rarely eat food in a Mc D. Mostly it's coffee, toilet and wifi. There are two other Mac's in Cherbourg which have to be better than this one. Convenient for the port, but the others would be too. It was not busy, but staff are very laid back and when our ordered arrived it was cold and we don't think the fries were cooked through. A terrible Mac's experience. There is a restaurant opposite which is open 7/7, which we will try next time - it would be hard pushed to be a worse experience anyway.

Went here twice in the last week-1st time for ice creams and a drink & were 1st given someone else's different ice cream order, when corrected there was no apology or friendliness. Then the correct order had no spoon for my sundae.2nd time- an item was missing from our order which was soon rectified. Service 2nd time was more friendly. Lovely earl grey tea which you don't get at English McDonald's!

I know McDonalds fast food. Over here however far below their own standard. Grumpy personnel, even while its not that busy. All toilets closed except the disabled toilet which shows clear traces of s**t all around - not enjoyable. Quickly gone to never come back over here in this place.

This is a very busy restaurant. Anytime I go here there are lots of people here. Food is the same as every other McDonalds.
