The granddaughter and I went for a quick bite during errands and we ended up throwing away half our meal. The fries were way, way to salty. These extremely salty fries were in the kids Happy Meal. Tried to swap her fries for mine but mine were just as salty. This is not the first time that this has happened. Guess I will have to head to the other McDonald's in Welland. The service that I received from staff was pleasant, it was easy to note that the girl behind cash was not aware of some specials or gift coupon processes. She worked through it all with a large smile.
First time worst behavior of staff (Stacey), yelled at me at window, I ordered 2 ice cream cones, she said its only one.. i nicely said i placed order for 2 and can pay for other now.. she started making faces and yelled at me, giving attitude, turned her back on me, when i called her again she started yelling loudly, its not my problem, i dont need to learn from others how to behave. Worst customer service ever.. i hope someone teach her how to speak and behave.. she is brutal..
Went through the drive through. Ordered my meal. The confirmation screen wasn't working. Sounded like she got the order right when she read it back to me. I got the wrong order. No receipt. And told me I'd have to drive around again? Staff was extremely rude. Tried to blame ME for holding up the line. They screwed up my order, and took them the longest time getting me a receipt (that is usually put in my bag). Can't believe how rude the staff was. Times have changed I guess ... After reading some reviews, I don't understand what people are talking about. I have never had a negative experience at this restaurant. The service has always been quick, although sometimes I have had to wait for my order. They have a medium-sized play area, which I have noticed can vary in size at different McDonald's locations. The play area is enclosed and includes a small seating area for parents or guardians. They also accept mobile orders.
My name is Gurdeep Singh and I work at McDonald's in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I visited this McDonald's recently to purchase a coffee carafe for my Thanksgiving dinner. As an employee of McDonald's in Canada, I receive a 50% discount on all items in the store. I was disappointed when the manager at this McDonald's did not honor my discount. Thank you, Rebecca.
The restaurant failed to follow simple instructions for a no tomato and no mayo order, despite the request being clear. This isn't the first time this has happened, and now with the restaurant closing soon, there is no chance for the mistake to be corrected. It's frustrating when such a simple order is not completed correctly.
