Mein Rufus - Cafe & Lounge

8. September 2018 At 11:30 am, my wife and I stopped at the Rufus Cafe and Lounge after our group hike at Bernkastel. After the tour we were alone for lunch until we had our ship on board. We noticed the Rufus Cafe and Lounge earlier in the morning when our group handed it on the way to downtown and wine tasting. After looking at the menu (many choices) we chose a pineapple and ham thinly encrusted pizza. We passed by until dinner on the ship. The pizza was delicious. While waiting for the pizza, I had a look at the lounge and was impressed. It had a nice seating area with fireplace to relax for girls. I recommend that you at the Rufus Cafe and Lounge for coffee, cake or pizza when in Bernka...

We visited this cafe when last here two years ago, mainly because we have a cat called Rufus! So another visit this year. The coffee is great and the selection of cakes makes it hard to choose! my husband had a hot chocolate which was served with hot milk in an insulated double skinned mug along with a small jug of liquid chocolate, it looked so decadent!

We went here after a walk through Bernkastel. The service was very nice, the cakes were top and teh Gullash soup we had was great. Overall good caffee.

Beautiful cafe, cake display best we've seen on our extensive travels and to top it off excellent Cappucinos and friendly service.

One of the better places to call for coffee and cake, while in Bernkastel convenient for the river and car parking
