This restaurant has been offering the traditional Spanish Menu del Dia for as long as memory serves and is definitely one of the major players. The menu never changes, but as there are so many choices it is possible to go there three or four days in a row and order a different meal each time. A simple salad is placed on the table to start with,plus a bottle of wine and a bread basket , while you wait for your first course to arrive. Highlights include a wonderful home made soup and a selection of fish, meat and pasta dishes.A much better than usual desert menu is also on offer. French fried chips come with everything.
