It pains me a little to write this review. My husband and I love Menya and whenever we’re in Arcadia, he asks if we can stop by. When I came tonight without him, he asks for me to bring him some. The mazesoba is full of umami, really unique, and a quick, easy meal. There’s a bit of a wait but it moves fast.The reason why they don’t get five stars is because today when we dined in, the table was wet and had food scraps on it. When we asked the sever to wipe it again, he brushed us off and said it was the sanitizer. I pointed to the food left on the table. The server just picked few but not all of the bits and walked away. I thought he was going to come back and wipe it down again. He didn’t....

Menya Hanabi is literally one of the only reasons I have to come up to Arcadia from OC. I always splurge and get the deluxe spicy mazesoba $17.59) because if I'm going to drive all that way I better make it worth it. The interior is clean but comforting and gives family restaurant vibes. If you're looking for one of the most satisfying meals that serve as great leftovers when you inevitably underestimate its volume the first you eat it, Menya is the place to go. Their deluxe comes with ground pork, chashu pork, garlic, fish powder, green onions, seaweed flakes, nori, a delicious poached egg, and their specialty noodles. Really love eating here, however, the service could be better. Came in today right before the lunch rush and it was very obvious which employee/host does most of the work! There was this one male employee that just stood around behind the table and didn't even help the other hostess/waitress at all. She was running back and forth waiting tables, checking tables out, calling out names, etc. while he just stood there and watched her do the work. We were waiting at our table for like 15 mins trying to get their attention so we could order and there were a few mistakes that could've been avoided if only our waitress had some help from her coworkers and didn't have to run around by herself. Stopped by Menya Hanabi in Arcadia recently. It's a busy spot, but the wait is usually quick a nice balance for a popular place. Service was both quick and friendly, making the experience smooth. I tried the original in spicy flavor. The flavors hit the mark, with just enough heat. It's a great pick if you like a little kick in your meal. Be warned, portions are big and I ended up taking some home. They also offer a free small bowl of rice after your meal to mix with leftover sauce. I was too full to try it but it sounds like a cool twist. Overall, Menya Hanabi is a solid choice if you're in Arcadia, but come hungry and ready for a good meal. Reserve uma mesa agora

Overall, we left full and satisfied. With that said, it's more like a one and done IMO. The original was really delicious, very savory, very unique. I don't think I've ever ate anything like this ever... It was a welcome surprise! Tan Tan was equally delicious especially with the added ground sesame adding a nuttiness to the overall dish, but damn was it heavy! Karage was juicy and Krispy that's all, not disappointing just nothing to rave about. GO HUNGRY! Portions are hefty. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of the free rice

Great food and very good service. The food is delicous and they have some creative drinks on the menu. My fav is the Yuzu Matcha. The only thing that kills me is the screech of chairs as they are moved; super loud and annoying. But other than that, it is a great food spot. It's small, so be prepared to wait if you go at a busy time. We like to go on Sunday around 630 or 7. Get your dish spicy... so yummy.

A very tiny and busy place. More for youngsters and adults. Not ideal for older folks and kiddos. It's upbeat, loud and fast paced. It's definitely an acquired taste kind of place, the noodles are delicious but very greasy and oily sauce. I can only eat have of the portion. It is a good place for those who really enjoy dry noodle.

I got the tan tan, very good spicy. My buddy got the original and added his own heat and we both agree these noodles exceeded our expectations. The karrage had this sweet vinegar type thing going on that was just perfect. Go here and eat up. Then prepare yourself for a nap Reserve uma mesa agora

Two Mazesoba dishes are excellent. From 6:15 PM to 8:00 PM, there are a waiting line.
