Menz - Reservar uma mesa

Oct 1, 2023 Best meal we've had in a while! Came upon Menz Restaurant Bar during our RV camping weekend. The crab soup was fabulous, bursting with flavor! We decided to just eat dinner at the bar area. Everyone was so nice friendly. It was like a dinner party! For dinner we had crab stuffed shrimp, chicken franchaise, steamed clam appetizer. All fabulous, cooked perfectly. Baked potato with dinner was fresh, not hours old! Even the the green beans almondine tasty, perfect, not over cooked. Atmosphere was rustic but tastefully done. Gave this place a shot after hearing from a friend that it was bad. She hadn't been there in over 10 years, so I thought why not??? Welp...apparently nothing has changed. Food was awful. Eggplant parm was so thick and mushy, and the sauce was terrible. Salads were basic, bagged spring mix with a couple of cucumber slices, definitely nothing special. I had the fried shrimp stuffed with crabmeat, edible but I've had better frozen fish. The place is overrated and definitely a tourist spot. Save your money. $80 for 2 of us, no drinks, no apps or desserts. Waste of money! They were swamped, so not sure what the draw is.

Never disappointed. Baked potatoes are the best and we get the sassy shrimp. Everything is home made and fresh. Service is excellent . Recommend making reservations. Love the quirky atmosphere.

I have been going here since I was little. Still my favorite place to eat in the area, always try to go at least once when I am around. Love the stuffed shrimp and crab soup.

Been going to the Cape May for over 40 years and never visited Menz. Was amazed at how wonderful the food was and the service. Will definitely be back.
