beautiful eating, many varied beers (but faules staff too late): since its opening we have come here; it is unusual to have such a many number of beers available, excellent if more and more expensive. eating is also really good, and they do. a little for the next love, apparently eating here too? at the latest, the bar employees with UN-interested employees hang around the bar that play with their phones all the time and dirty tables. Gert back to the GOOD staff who have all the quality will be restored.

Lovely place would highly recommend. Been here a few times with family living just up the road. Each time I’ve found it to have a great atmosphere and nice food. Staff were generally polite and attentive. One in particular was very vigilant about cleaning...and sanitizing tables which I though was reassuring in these strange times. Fries were good and staff also made an effort to check on we were enjoying the food. Would definitely recommend a visit.

we recently moved from southsea, but a short return brought us back to the merchant house. the staff are so friendly, they welcomed our puppies and recommended a delicious whisky infused cider. we had something to eat. hanoi hangover rides and ends. one. perfect snack for two and absolutely amazing. we always loved it here and it was certainly not disappointed. I'll see you again!

We were a little disappointed yesterday with our takeaway food. The Popeye burger was really bland although the chicken was cooked well and the brioche buns in all the burgers were burnt so tasted bitter. Loaded fries were great but the slaw was...so bitter it was almost inedible. Such a shame especially as the order comes with a mandatory service charge!!! Not good.

Been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now Very slightly disappointed as my burgers main ingredient the MEAT was sadly overcooked My wife’s burger the pulled pork was perfect Chips were lovely
