Merchants House Cafe

a so beautiful place booked on the morning via FB ambassadors and the staff was very friendly and polite. a table had been booked over the back when a baby came with a buggy. Eating is great, fresh and quick to get out. we had sandwiches and a baked potato for lunch and of course left place for a coffee and cake afterwards! the kokoskuchen is amazing and the discs are very generous! the staff is also very friendly and friendly. can't wait to visit again!

This would be four and a half, if I could choose that. Fantastic old building (1590! with lots of info about the history and restoration available in the courtyard. Nice coffee, good selection of cakes, average prices for the area (I think . Only one vegan option that I spotted though, and the carrot cake was over stuffed with dried fruit for my liking, and too big for me to finish. The hand cream in the toilets smells divine, by the way recommended.

In a city with limited vegan options, it is refreshing to see vegan choices on the menu. The vegan sausage is of good quality and makes for a delicious breakfast dish. However, the real highlight here are the cakes, which are truly spectacular! (Review updated as of August 7, 2021)

in a group of 3 we tried the cheesecake of the hell, the forest cake and the heavenly cake, and they were all absolutely delicious. the mocha was also amazing, and they had soy milk available. will definitely come back, some of the best cakes I ever had at such a fair price!

This charming little cafe is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is made to order using fresh ingredients. Be sure to try their cakes, as the selection looks absolutely amazing. You will leave feeling very pleased with your visit!
