Merhaba - Reservar uma mesa

Today, I finally want to redeem my promise to NoTeaForMe and report on the Merhaba, in which we fed on our trip to the Baltic Sea in October in the evening. We were both quite curious about this Turkish restaurant located opposite our Hotel Motel One. The owner warmly welcomed us, led us to our reserved table and brought us the menu. And as always we ordered our normal drinks: a soft wheat (4.50 € and a 0.25 l of water (3.00 €). Meanwhile we studied the menu that shows a rich and varied offer. We were visiting Lueneburg and found “Merhaba” using Google maps. After walking into the empty place (on a weekday, early afternoon), I tried starting a friendly conversation with the man wearing the black-rimmed glasses behind the counter. The conversation went something like this: Me: “Lots...of great options! What’s the difference between the “standard Doner Kebap” and the “Vegetable Doener Kebap with meat”? Answer from the man with glasses: “What it says on the sign”. WTF? I can read, thank you very much. Zero points in the customer service department for you, my friend.

Great sarma and wonderful red wine, just what I needed in a cold evening...and it was just next to my hotel (Motel One). Cosy atmosphere, friendly service.Thank you!

Beside many meat dishes they offer a broad range of veggie dishes. This place is definitely worth a visit.
