We arrived with a large group and were seated promptly. However, we waited 40 minutes without anyone attending to us, not even for water. Eventually, someone only came after we informed the host that we hadn't been served, and they quickly found a staff member. Our meals arrived at different times, with the last one taking 30 minutes after the first. The dining experience took us 2 hours, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. There were high chairs available, but no kid-friendly menu items, making it difficult for our children. The bread was extremely sour, more so than usual. The rest of the food was good. The bathroom walls were unfinished drywall with dirty light switches. Overall,...

We came in in a group of 12 we waited 45 minutes before we were even serviced with any drinks. Finally, we went up and got somebody. The food came out and pieces very sporadic. Nobody received their meals at the same time. Service was not good at all had to keep asking the server for more water or anything we had to find themunique place, but they need to step up their service skills as far as the food. It was OK definitely different. Some of the meats and stuff were just kind of bland. I love the avocado salad that was fresh and very tasty but everything else was just mediocre.Vegetarian options: Quite a bit of vegetarian options for sureDietary restrictions: A lot of healthy options they m...

There are not a lot of choices to get Ethiopian food in St. Louis, but this place here should be number one on your list. I am never ever disappointed when I come to this restaurant and I often don’t get a chance to go there as much as I used to since now I moved away from the city, it’s in the perfect location on South grand sort of Mecca of world cuisine in St. Louis. Plenty of parking with a simple meter app. Make sure when you go. You have a light meal prior because it’s better to go not on a full stomach. The special Ethiopian bread tends to expand and so you wanna make sure you have just enough Craving with you so that you can enjoy the entire meal. Better yet bring a few friends and s...

Always amazing! The best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had. Been coming here for about 9 years and I’m always so happy. The vegetarian combo is my go to. I’ve order other items but I love the variety. The Azifa (sp) lentils in spicy mustard sauce as an appetizer is delightful and can easily be a meal with another appetizer.I will say overall the portion sizes do vary on every visit. Sometimes it’s really generous while other times it’s rather skimpy.I used to be able to get the same combo for just under $18 and now it is $23. I do understand inflation and such but I hope for $5 more the kitchen can have more consistency in portion sizes Reserve uma mesa agora

Ethiopian cuisine shines in its simplicity – no utensils required! Just tear off a piece of injera and use it to scoop up the flavorful wats, alechas, and tibs. Additional injera is available upon request. This restaurant offers one of the most authentic Ethiopian dining experiences in the area, nestled in the vibrant Grand Blvd restaurant scene. I will definitely be returning for more of this delicious food.

A friend's niece treated him and me to dinner there and it was EXCELLENT! The serving staff are friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and culturally interesting. I highly recommend it! I don't eat out often (can't afford it), but I would go back here any time--especially if it's your treat!

Excellent food. The vegetarian plates are amazing. Doro wat is also really good. They also have a really nice honey-wine.
