Meson El Segoviano

We have eaten here before and it was nice, however we came out tonight with a storm on the way. Most places were quiet and Segoviana was no different. We were not hugely hungry so ordered a few tapas, potatoes, salad, croquettes, empanada etc..The waiter Guillermo was suggesting ordering 3 portions rather than 2 of things so we went with that, he then suggested we also order the calamari, which we did and then suggested some small tuna with tomato dish which I then also ordered as he said it was small. We decided to try this place on a whim. I am really glad we did. The food was fantastic and the staff friendly. The place was very busy inside but our food arrived promptly. The menu was all in Spanish so we had some difficulty understanding what everything was but I suppose that is only to be expected when you are getting authentic Spanish Cuisine. It wouldn't have mattered anyway because everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious.

Chose some tapas of potatas bravas, house salad, and calamari. All freshly prepared and tasted wonderful.With wine and coffees to finish, The service was excellent and extremely friendly. It was e24 and worth every cent. For 2 people, great value.

We found this restaurant while nothing was open in the city. Without big expectations we ordered a grilled squid and fried fish. Both were delicious and the waitress was very nice and helpful with the translation of the menu.

We were in Lorca for a few days found this and had a fabulous meal served by a very friendly waiter, we managed to overcome the language barrier and will go back very soon.
