Mi Mamacita's - Reservar uma mesa

We had a party of eight and when we were given the check we were told that there 's a policy of one check, one payment method only. We were unable to split the check eight ways and use separate credit cards. There was no notice of this policy and no one mentioned it at any point. When ordering, two of the party said we 're on the same check and the server did not indicate that wasn 't possible due to our party size. The margaritas were weak and flavorless. The food was barely edible. Needless to say, everyone in our party will be telling friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, social media, and strangers to avoid this restaurant 's poor quality food, beverage, and service.

New Mexico style food is advertised but it tastes just like Mexican to me. This is one of the most popular Mexican food joints on the North Shore and they do have a pretty cool atmosphere. The food seems to be very similar to most other American style Tex-Mex food I 've had across the USA but maybe something is different here that makes it New Mexican style that I 'm missing. Not the best quality Mexican food, although the prices were ok. The staff were very friendly and considerate. There was only one bathroom in the whole facility, which created a battle for the bathrooms when everyone needed to go at once. The idea of the place is cute but I didn't like it all that much.
