The evening started out great but took a turn for the worse. The cheese curds came out great and quick. We ordered an elk burger and a chicken wrap and got a side of onion rings with both. After we ordered with our waitress she only checked on us one time through out the whole hour and 15 minutes we waited for our food to come out. Finally the food comes out and the onion rings were cold and tasteless. The elk burger is nothing special. The meat was cold and dried out and the bun was hard as a rock. There were not enough servers to handle the influx of customers. We witnessed several parties leave the establishment after 10-15 minutes of not being acknowledged. We were lucky enough to be waited on and served our food.

A perfect roadside watering hole with good food and ice cold beer. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with bacon onions and a dinner roll was the lunch special when I stopped in and it hit the spot.
