Mill Tavern - Reservar uma mesa

We’ve been to The Mill several times and always had reasonably good food there, so took a friend there for dinner on Sat night. There were two issues this visit. Firstly on arrival we could barely get through the door it was rammed around the entrance part of the bar with young drinkers. Apparently a younger crowd who have allegedly been barred from three other pubs in Haslemere are now descending on the Mill at weekends to drink. We thought we’d walked into a private party. No effort seemed to be made to get these groups away from the door. We couldn’t check in at the bar like usual and we’re left hanging around like spare parts until we got someone’s attention. I met up with friends to take a walk around Shottermill lakes with our dog. We had booked a table for lunch and were met with a lovely and friendly welcome. The pub had a very pretty and cosy interior, and the food was superb - reasonably priced and portioned just right! The staff were great, very efficient and friendly. We will definitely be coming back here for more walks and lunches!

vegan roast is just veggie roast with missing items and the same price that is disappointed, but very tasty is updated by previous review on 2021-11-14
