Miller Carter Brighton

Miller Carter remains the top restaurant in Brighton and sets the standard for others to follow. I visited again tonight for my anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, though I was disappointed that the onion was unavailable with the steaks tonight, as it is my favorite. The restaurant has always maintained a high standard of cleanliness and ambiance, with plenty of parking and excellent service. Abi, our waitress, was exceptional and truly made our visit even more enjoyable. If I have one suggestion, it would be to have a bit more music to enhance the atmosphere. Overall, it was a great dinner and we will definitely be returning for future special occasions.

We used to come here regularly, havent been for a while but used to love the nachos so ordered them to start with the pulled beef…. It came out with only a teaspoon worth of meat, never used to be that small of a portion, and the purple tortilla chips were stale and chewy! Then when our steaks came my pot of steak sauce had nearly nothing in, I could see the bottom of the dish and it was cold and lumpy! My sister had the same sauce but it was hot and full. Mine however looked like it was left from a previous plate! Long waits between courses, it’s definitely gone down hill! Won’t be going back there for a long time!

We recently visited The Black Lion at Patcham after it was taken over by Miller Carter, and we were blown away by the improvements. The steaks were the most flavorful and tender we have ever had at a chain restaurant.

Great place, great food and service, especially Kim who was so lovely. The scallops and the calamari were delicious and the ribs were some of the best I have had.

Absolutely dreadful. Booked table kept waiting for half an hour. Still no table available. We have eaten here before and it's really gone downhill.
