As my wife and I were looking around Long Island for wedding venues, we checked out a number of different locations and we didn't get a great feeling or connection to any of them, until we walked into the Miller Place Inn.Upon meeting one of the owners, Donna, all of this changed. Donna is an absolute gem and made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of during our planning. She is incredibly honest, knowledgeable, and she truly cares about making your wedding a special one. Recently attended a wedding at this venue. Aside from the food and the venue itself this is literally the most unwelcoming and racist venue owners we have ever seen. Speaking from experience, I have attended 100s of weddings in New York and have never experienced such prejudice from any staff or venue ever! From not allowing vendors to sit in chairs, calling vendors “sand men” cutting off a steel pan player during dinner, who was hired to play during dinner, because dinner time is “silent time”. We have never heard or seen such blatant discrimination and harassment from a venue that is paid for and then making up rules all of a sudden on event day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and it’s staff! We got married in April and every step of the way was a dream because of Donna and her team! The food and environment were amazing and something our friends and family never stop talking about! I truly felt like the most important person in the world on my wedding day thanks to MPI! Our pictures are drop dead gorgeous because that’s what this venue is! Gorgeous! Donna truly made us feel like we were family from the day we checked out the venue to the day of our wedding and after! I would recommend this venue and it’s staff to anyone who wants a beautiful, stress-free wedding to remember!

Chris and his team helped me with my mom’s memorial lunch. Thank you Chris and the Miller Place team. The ease with which we booked was fantastic and much appreciated. We were almost an hour late due to traffic and the team was ready for us when we arrived. The food was fabulous and the service was so attentive. The place was beautiful and the Team made my mom’s memorial lunch truly memorial. I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone looking for a catering facility.

Just got home from having a wonderful evening at the miller place inn. The food was delicious, waitstaff was great. I cant say enough about christopher. He helped in every way possible. Such a nice man. My homemakers has just booked another dinner there.
