Milton's - Reservar uma mesa

Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon with a group of 6. Dining room was pretty busy and we had a short wait for a table. I understand the difficulty with hiring and keeping reliable staff, so we were patient. The server took our order for drinks and then came back for our food order. The food almost beat our drink order to the table. Based on the quality and quantity of food, it more than made up for the slower drink orders. 2 people ordered grits and said they were the best they have ever had. Wow, horrible service (or lack of). We saw the sign at the register saying they are short staffed, which we always completely understand (I used to work in a restaurant). We were sat on the patio and watched a table (who arrived after us) get drinks, order food, AND have their food delivered while their waitress completely ignored us the entire time. I politely asked another server walking by if we had a server for our table and he said “yeah I’ll get someone” and the proceeded to give me a dirty look as he walked inside. We waited 5-6 minutes and then my husband walked inside to ask about a server and the same server completely ignored him. We left as the table next to us, who arrived after...

Waited at the table for an hour to be served, even to be asked about drinks. The waitresses passed us many times but spent most of the time sitting at the bar. We only waited that long because there was a sign up front that said be patient because everything is cooked to order. When they finally realized there were obviously customers there with menus that haven 't been helped, they did not apologize but said no one told me you were here. It 's a small one room resteraunt which is very well lit. We got up and left.

A hidden jewel! A family own restaurant that pours love into their food and service! Our goal is to try everything on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was pretty good overall, my burger was excellent , but the fries were good, not great .
