Mini Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Mini Dragon has been our local dine in and take away Chinese restaurant for over 15 years, with an average of once a week dining. Since the restaurant changed hands the food has been very hit and miss but more recently miss and miss. Our last take away was not what we ordered, despite repeating the order three times, and the mandarin chicken was dry, chewy and inedible. Staff need to understand phone orders. The fried rice was tasteless. I don’t even know what the dish was we received but didn’t order but it was over cooked and we threw it away. Sadly we won’t be returning, and after all these years, that’s a shame.

Prawns and seasonal veg, prawns old and tasted like rubber. Satay chicken, some parts hot some parts cold in temp. No taste to sauce. Steamed rice, you can't stuff this up) ohh yes you can, very poor. Will never go back. This place was a regular twice a week get out. Since back new owners very poor meals, worst ever.

Special Fried Rice not so special. Bits and pieces of something in there, not sure what. Roast Pork and seasonal vegetables lacking in flavour and veggies too hard. Battered Chicken Sweet and Sour was more batter and less chicken. Such a shame this place changed hands.

We have been eating and taking out from this restaurant for the last three years and very happy with the food and the service. It is nothing flash but good. Have taken friends there as well for a fun evening.

First time there loved the food good service happy to go back was quiet night but take away was busy everyone seemed pleased
