Mirchi Indian Restaurant

We were out for a long walk when we stumbled across Mirchi in the Paddington neighbourhood of Brisbane. It was just my daughter and me, so we only sampled three dishes: the Chicken 65, Spinach Pakoda, and a beef masala. I wish we had room for more! The flavors were incredible, so fresh and perfectly blended. There was nothing "mushy" about this curry: it was flavorful, spicy, and the meat absolutely fork-tender. The chicken was jump-off-the-plate delicious. And the spinach was incredible. The service was perfect (it wasn't busy but had just opened, and it is "winter" after all) and the lovely waitress obviously took pride in her restaurant.I had a beer, my daughter had a lassi, and the 2 ent...

While taking a long walk in the Paddington neighborhood of Brisbane, my daughter and I stumbled upon Mirchi. We tried three dishes - Chicken 65, Spinach Pakoda, and beef masala - and we wished we had room for more as the flavors were incredible. The curry was not mushy but flavorful and spicy, with tender meat. The service was impeccable and the waitress took pride in the restaurant. We enjoyed a beer and a lassi along with the 2 appetizers and curry, which were more than enough for us. The bill came to under $40, which was a great deal considering food prices in Australia. We only wish we had more people with us to sample more of this delicious food.

We discovered this restaurant located just a short walk from our friends' house. Ordering online was easy and our food was ready in just 20 minutes. The portions were generous and well-priced. The dishes were perfectly sauced and had just the right amount of spice.

Meals weren't too bad. Quiet place on Saturday though, so lucky for us didn't have to wait for meals though.
