Ambiance cozy, no more then 40 seats with a couple of tables outside. It can get pretty noisy tho. Service friendly and efficient. Food and drinks had the spicy margarita, it was amazing and for all you instas, it definitely has insta appeal. Good choice of wines, cheapest was 36 a bottle. Chicken and shitake mushroom dumplings were absolutely amazing! Chicken satay, very tender, served with a thick sauce and pickled cucumber. Made the mistake of ordering two heavy dishes for main. Massaman lamb shank was fall apart tender, the sauce was a tad sweet and potatoes a little undercooked but overall very nice. The 12 hour confit duck red curry, was very tender but i didn’t get the red curry flavo...
Food fantastic. Small servings for the mains. Service….. ok. Booking for 545 pm. We got in around 530 We were under pressure from when we got there to get out. Come 630 we were told we had to be gone at 7. A smaller table to offer us to finish our wine was also not available. So we left the wine behind. Was challenged the time we booked for so for after 1 hr 15 (that’s all) we were out. $6 per PERSON corkage was criminal. As mentioned cannot fault the food but the rest. Lift your game for customer service. Won’t ge back because of that.
We were a group of five on a Sunday night and experienced the very best of mod-Oz Asian fusion food and great service. Good wine list with the ability to also BYO. All dishes are for sharing (we ordered too much and had to have some packed for home and were wonderful. Particular stand-outs were the TomYum mussels, soft shell crab with green papaya salad and the stir-fried tiger prawns (no-one should leave this earth before they've tried this dish! .
