Saturday night, Unfortunately for my husband and I,:we decided to order take out at Moe's Pizza in White Oak, Texas on 8/20/22. The order was a large Meat Lover's pizza adding onion topping to half of it, along with hand tossed crust. The pizza was veryscantily covered with meat, basically no sauce whatever, and with a thin crust. I ordered a pizza with hand tossed crust andadding onions to half of the pizza. This onion addition was not to replace the meat in any way. We were very unhappy with thecold thin cardboard pizza we were sold. After calling the restaurant, I spoke with the manager, John, who was very helpful and had a good understanding of customer service. He was polite and offered us a replacement pizza or a refund. After discussing it, we decided we didn’t want another Moe's Pizza, so my husband went back to the store to request a refund from John. However, the owner called me personally without identifying himself and demanded to know what the problem with our pizza was. This caller didn’t introduce himself as the owner. We ordered a variety of dishes, and I had the Gyro, which really impressed me. The baked mozzarella on top added an incredible amount of flavor! The pita was soft, and the meat was thick and juicy. My son enjoyed the mini pepperoni pizza, which reminded me of the classic Pizza Hut pan pizzas from back in the day. It had that perfect combination of crispy and fluffy crust, topped off with delicious cheese, sauce, and toppings. As a regular customer, our party of three enjoyed a delightful meal today. We ordered a couple of pizzas: a Moe’s Supreme and a Chicken Barbecue, both with a thin crust.
