We were staying at the nearby Mercure Hotel where the restaurant had been reserved for coach parties only. There isn’t much in this area so we were pleased to find this place.We had a superb meal – the food and service were both excellent. The prices were very reasonable as well (EUR2.20 for a beer – would have been EUR5-10 in the Mercure!).Most customers are locals, calling in to eat or for a drink. Everyone said hello or goodbye to us as they came and left. Most of the staff don’t speak English and the menu is in German only, so you will need some German language skills.
