As a cook, I am highly dissatisfied with the quality of the meal. I ordered Brown Stew Chicken, rice peas and Mac Cheese. The Brown Stew Chicken was mid flavoring was barely there. The rice was mushy and tasted like it had been a few days old. The Mac Cheese was what set it completely off the Mac was very, very clearly days old. The discoloration of top of the Mac was not a “oven burnt” coloration, it was stiff to the point where I tried to take a bite and ended up picking up the entire serving of Mac. I ride past this place all the time and finally had a date night with babe and this is where we went. Its huge inside but it deff needs some cosmetic updates. The local artwork that is hung all over makes the place look chic and modern and takes away from the run down look but you can tell that owner or owners do care about the place. A year ago, after we first ordered, I gave a solid, positive review. Today, after having experienced multiple meals over the last 12 mos, I have to say that they have NOT lived up to that first, great dining experience.We ordered for delivery as we usually do: the sides were not accurate (a repeat problem) the corn was sour; needless to say, we threw it out. I recommend avoiding this restaurant altogether. It's often empty for a good reason, and I honestly don't understand why it's still open. Their operating hours are inconsistent; you might show up during posted hours only to find the doors closed. Additionally, a significant portion of their menu is unavailable. They don't even offer basic items like brown stew chicken, which makes me question what other simple dishes they claim to have but don't actually serve. The menu inside has listed prices but warns that they aren't accurate. I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. When the server brought me my meal of collard greens and mac and cheese, the container of collards spilled on the counter. Instead of using a utensil, he simply placed his bare hands in the mess and tried to put the food back into the container. Not only was that unappetizing, but also concerning, considering the counter might not have been clean. My main worry is that if he handled my food this way in front of me, I can only imagine what might be happening in the kitchen behind the scenes. This experience has made me decide I need to start preparing my own meals.

Order: wings, cat fish, Mac and cheese, yams, banana pudding which used to be my favorite).The chicken was so salty it wasn't edible. The fish was under cooked and extremely oily not edible), the yams were disgusting, the Mac was essentially noodles with butter, and the banana pudding which was previously amazing tasted like boxed powdery pudding. And the restaurant flat out stinks and is dirty. Complete waste of money. Never again.

I just want to share my experience. When I walked in to pick up a DoorDash order, I was immediately greeted by an unpleasant odor. The entire establishment smelled like a house with numerous cats; the stench alone made me question the quality of the food they were preparing. It was truly off-putting.

The food is excellent, my first time there I had Shrimp and Grits with Scrambled Eggs they were so good I had to come back and get them again the second time plus I got a order of Jerk Chicken to go for later. ?? Reserve uma mesa agora
