Rib Chop House - Reservar uma mesa

This is a modestly priced family steak house with large portions, good food, and a Montana atmosphere. There is a dining room and an attached bar that share the same menu. There were many large family parties celebrating school graduations on the night we dined, so service was slow. But our server did a good job of keeping his cool and keeping us informed about the status of our meal. We tried the popular boudin balls' for an appetizer. If you are a ribs and chop place your ribs should be the best thing on your menu. I found them mediocre at best...and the squash casserole about made me gag. I've heard good things about this place so maybe an off night but I wouldn't recommend. Service was okay but our waitress was so focused on making the birthday group next to us happy it was a chore for her to get our order in. The side of mushrooms was the best thing I had in our $100 meal.

our son is drawn to livingston. we went in without reservation, but they sat us, although it was busy. large menu and options available. the ribs were very, very good and delicate service was solid. our waitress was busy, but with our table. polite friendly locals seemed to visit the place. parking is busy, but it proves that the restaurant is successful. shaqs shoe to see was an interesting conversation piece.

The waiter was super attentive! The food was great. Parking was adequate you can even park in front of the community building if it is after normal business hours (5:30 pm Only thing odd is they take many table reservations by table location so there was a wait and we were seated closer to the bar (slightly noisier).

Fantastic experience! Nathan, our server, couldn’t have been nicer. He was friendly, helpful with the menu, and not rushed. I was super impressed,, and if I had a business, I would hire him immediately!
