Montezumas Mexican Restaurant

Bar staff and manager made an effort to help us choose a beer we would like, they both came over to our table to chat and check that we were happy so far.Waitress was ok, not as friendly as could have been.Food was ok, came out hot which was nice. Came out pretty quickly after ordering.We have not been to Montezuma for years, vowed we would never go back after a crappy experience a few years ago, we thought we would give it a go as we had the entertainment book voucher, glad we had the voucher!We had our 2 young boys with us and seemed happy enough to colour in on the pages supplied.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the service is great! When we visited this evening, a young 17-year-old girl was working by herself during peak time and she did an excellent job. Unfortunately, she had to deal with a rude and nasty customer who was causing trouble a few tables away. It was clear that she was doing her best to handle the situation, and no one deserves to be treated that way.

One staff member on the floor with a packed restaurant. We didn't stay. Poor waiter said owner would not pay staff to work on Sunday but there will no customers if this keeps up

Came for lunch and left very disappointed, Food was bland, small small portions, staff non attentive, I could go on but not worth it - go somewhere else if you want Mexican.

Great food, wonderful staff. Typically decorated with Mexican touches. Unfortunately restaurant is down a side street so may be missed by passing traffic. Good value.
