OMG I must have been in a silver DeLorean Thursday because I went back when I arrived at Moonlight Drive-in in Titusville. Car hops (minus the roller skates) throw back prices, thoughtful service and great food just 32 minutes from home on a scenic US1drive or less on I95. juicy burgers, chicken sandwiches crispy pommes that are coated in melty cherries and chili. Shakes with unique crafty flavors served on a tablet car side as days away. A constant flow of traffic lets me know that the locals know where they go for great food and ambience. I can't wait to go back and try something else. Chuck Wag Burger, Chili Cheese Pommes, chicken sandwich pine cheesecake shake and chocolate peanut butter...
I like this place. My meal is a hot dog w/chili, Fritten, Rootbeer and choclate Sunday. The burgers are also good. The frits are thin cut crispy not thick and greasy. You shouldn't feel hungry when you leave. Also the service is great, friendly and friendly. They also offer auto-hop service. The atmosphere is covered, whether in or in your car. I really like this place. I moved to Titusville in February and I was glad I stopped. Beats the mouthful fast food chains here pretty nice.
Moonlight Drive In Titusville. If you are in the mood to drive in the driving time, don't look further. Moonlight is cheap and fast Americana cuisine with great boarding service. While the burgers are probably the best in Titusville, you will not go wrong with anything else on the menu. The fried mushrooms and root beer flakes are two of my personal favorites. Definitely worth a try when you're in the area.
One of the rare entrance restaurants is a Titusville stack. I rarely eat burgers, but if I live one, that's the place. I love the deluxe Cheeseburger Combo with Fritten. An old-fashioned tray that is attached to the car window thanks to the curb-side service. Nothing better.
