I was really disappointed at the service on the two occasions I had eaten there. The waitresses were either young and inexperienced (tried items that were ordered) or snore and irritated. My group were all German native speakers, so it was not a language barrier problem; they just made a terrible impression. The menu was usually overpriced for the quality and I would avoid the cheeses unless you are willing to risk an intestinal barrier. However, there is a jewel in the menu. The Kaiserschmarren is phenomenal, at least when I stacked against any restaurant or at home. They use this caramelization step that makes it really delicious. Ein versteckter Geheimtipp! Das Landgasthaus Moosalm liegt ca 2 km von der Hauptstraße weg. Der Weg dorthin lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker! Die Bedienung ist top freundlich und kann immer gut beraten. Es gibt Plätze innen und außen. Hinter dem Biergarten befindet sich ein Kinderspielplatz. Ganz toll für Familien mit Kindern! Hunde sind auch herzlich willkommen! Gerne fahre ich dort wieder hin!

From Obsteig went here and had a goulash soup and a glu wine - exactly what was necessary after a long walk! Friendly staff who speak fair English. Very popular with locals and stunning views. Also by bus and five minutes walk! Well recommended and quite an extensive menu.

Sehr angenehme Einkehrmöglichkeit, nette Bedienung und auch aufmerksam. Man kann sehr schön draußen sitzen und hat auch eine schönen Ausblick. Gern zu empfehlen.
