Morelia - Reservar uma mesa

Great Food!. My wife and I like this place. I like it because it's always the same and predictable. I've come here since it opened decades ago. The service is always terrific, in fact I told a waitress I thought she has worked here at least 20 years, she agreed she had. Anyway the food is fairly bland which my Swedish wife likes, always fresh tasting and not greasy. It's like it has been washed and rinsed of the grease and Mexican flavors with just a hint remaining. It's filling but not overly so and you'll never get heartburn. Hits the spot when you want something light with a little flavor. To spice it up I'll ask for some of their Habinaro hot sauce for a kick.

My Go-To Mexican Restaurant. I have gone to Morelia's at least monthly since I was a child. It is by far my favorite Mexican food in Utah. I understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea, it is mild compared to most Mexican flavors, but that's why I love it. I also love that the quality has never once dropped, and that no matter the day or time you will always see the owner in the kitchen cooking. Chips and salsa refills are free contrary to another reviewer's post, and I don't think at all that the chips/salsa/beans/rice are store bought as others have said.

The Best!. From reading the reviews listed here it would seem that there might be two Restaurant Morelias. I guess you can't please everyone all the time. For me, I would go to Morelias every night if my wife would allow me to. She put the limit at once a week and I went once a week for as long as we lived in Utah. We have now moved to Florida and not having Morelias here is horrible! Everytime we go back to Utah Morelias is on the agenda.

I love the dishes here! My current favorite is the fish tacos, second favorite is the Chile verde burritos. One of my favorite lunch spots.
