The neighborhood is pleasant, a residential area away from the city center. Enter the restaurant premises, and you are greeted as friend by all whose path you cross. Guided to a breezy, outdoor courtyard with about a dozen tables, you're asked for your beverage of choice. Soon it arrives with your first treat of the day -- some amazing concoction that quickly whets your appetite for more, more of these unique delights for the senses you could never even have dreamt could be created in a kitchen. And they do keep coming! Mit diesem Abend hat Herraz Sohn erneut seine Position als mein persönliches Lieblingsrestaurant in Wien untermauert. Ungebremste Kreativität trifft auf überraschende Geschmackserlebnisse und sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Mein Mann bemerkte, dass alle Mitarbeiter, ob im Dienst oder die Köche, die oft auf den Tisch kommen, den Glanz in den Augen haben, die Sie haben, wenn Sie sich für das, was Sie tun fühlen. Je mehr ich darüber nachdenke, desto mehr finde ich: Er hat Recht!

Die Stimmung im Restaurant wird weggelassen, es wird viel mit dem Service oder über den einen oder anderen Wein gelacht. Da das Essen aber auch von der ersten bis zum letzten Gruß angenehm ist, ist Mrazs Sohn so unglaublich charmant. Die Küche hier will nicht stören. Ja, sie will Überraschung und schafft es oft. Aber zuerst will sie sich über den Gast lustig machen.

From the minute we entered this restaurant until we left 4 hours later we were delighted with the 6 to 9 courses served to us along with the wine parings. They do a great job at accommodating people with food allergies as well.

Easily the best restaurant in all of Vienna. Very fun and cozy atmosphere which is not common for Michelin rated restaurants. I would highly recommend the 6 course tasting menu.
