do not understand the Dodgy reviews, except for the knowledge of the rules to preorder the order. they serve when they have food. ok, so the dame owner is a bit “no nonsense” but it is an endearing quality. the fish is fantastic, as good as everywhere and far, far better than most. chips are good, and they can have a small part for less appetit. two smaller critikens. the muddy heaps are not muddy enough, more like marrow fat heaps. I once ordered a pudding and I assume they must have it microwave because it was terrible. order them first, go for fish and chips. they are high

Wendy is violent. She threw a chip buttie at my head (it bounced off no obvs bad quality) and then when I asked for a can of Fanta pop fizzy orange she told me to shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. Overall I feel ashamed and I hope for some love, my husband just left me.

This is the best fish and chip shop for miles around. The staff are friendly and the prices are excellent. If you order ahead you'll be served faster, but you can also just walk in. Friday night is our designated fish and chip night, and we are never disappointed!

Dropped in on a whim for lunchtime fish and chips. Fish cooked fresh, chips excellent, nice cup of tea, tea bag in cup and provided with small dish to put bag in when tea was brewed to my liking which was a nice touch. Overall top class fish and chips.

I go to this restaurant every weekend with my family for fish and chips. The food, service, and especially the staff are all top-notch. Thank you for a great experience.
