Mykonos Recklinghausen

Probably one of the biggest pleasant surprises of my trip to Germany was finding this jewel Greek restaurant-Mykonos- in the heart of Recklinghausen! I have been to quite a few Greek rastaurants in the past years, some good and I will review a few more soon, so you can take advantage, but this one was a great surprise. Privately run by a Greek family, the place offers authentic Greek food... I visited it with 2 good German friends and everything they offer was fantastic, just the way it should be... I personally tried their mousaka which was one of the best I have ever tried (almost as good as the one I make, a very high standard to rich!)... my friends tried some lamb chops and lamb steak,...

this Greek local is comfortably furnished. the staff - especially the chef - made a friendly impression. the food itself could be better spiced. on the grill plate for several people the meat was dry and could have needed more Greek spices and salt. the appetizer was not bad, but here some things were missing, which were actually included for me, e.g. tarama. everything in all the above, but still capable of being built.

Ich war als gebürtige Recklinghäuserin seit Jahren endlich 'mal wieder im Mykonos und es war sehr erfreulich Dimi nach so langer Zeit anzutreffen . Das Mykonos hat durch Dimi, seinem freundlichem Team, der vorzüglichen Speisen dem sehr gemütlichen mediterranen Ambiente einen überaus persönlichen niveauvollen Touch. Not recommended by the hotel but tried anyway. Did not book an suggest you do if weekend. I had mixed meze started then a mixed meat main course and could not finish it. Plate piled high with meat and the giro meat was great. Service ok.

spontaneously after a shopping mall, we returned to mykonos. the salate served was just as good as the gyros ordered. above all, the very tasty tzatziki. everything in all you can go to eat here very well. Reserve uma mesa agora

we have been eating for more than 20 years at mykonos, very good quality at good price. the owner himself is nice and binding, woman and daughter are arrogant, blasphemed and pampy.

well maintained place and very friendly staff. Greek cuisine, the meat is well prepared. good value for money
