Namak Mandi - Reservar mesa

My family of six has dined at this restaurant many times in the past. However, during our visit yesterday, I was extremely disappointed with the manager's attitude. When a hair was found in the lamb shank in the kabuli pulao, my husband brought it to the manager's attention. The manager's response was that they have only male staff, so it wasn't their fault that hair was in the meat. He also said that if we couldn't afford to pay, we should leave. This kind of attitude was unacceptable. Despite the manager ultimately removing the cost of the kabuli pulao from our bill, the overall treatment of customers was really disappointing. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

The owner of this restaurant is terrible. My food was missing from my Just Eat order and when I asked for help, they said it was not their problem. I understand that they cannot control if a courier steals an order, but I was desperate as I had a child crying for her dinner and I am heavily pregnant with a partner looking after a sick family member that evening. The manager was very rude and told me to "go and annoy" Just Eat. Although the food has been good in the past, I will never give them my business again after being spoken to in such a disrespectful manner. This owner is clearly in the wrong industry if he thinks it is acceptable to treat customers this way.

Walking into Namak Mandi is like being greeted by an old friend with a warm embrace. The air is filled with the aroma of spices that excite your senses, and the cozy Afghani atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The food is an explosion of delicious flavors, from the rich and savory paya to the tender and fragrant nihari, each bite is a culinary adventure. The attentive staff and welcoming hospitality make you feel like royalty, without the formality of a palace.

Took a Greek colleague for Peshawari dishes, which in the end were miserable with too much salt and oil. The Charsi tikka was just a kilo of mutton bones with meagre meat and cups of oil. This was a mockery of Charsi tikka as the sauce was like a Biryani masala. Disappointed and hygiene a bit low! Reserve uma mesa agora

Ordered various dishes as starters, main and sides and sat enjoying them for a good couple of hours. The complementary chai tea at the end was just right. Friendly and informative staff and a nice atmosphere and very family friendly. Recommend a visit

We really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. This definitely had some of the best authentic dishes I’ve eaten in a while. Subtle flavors yet full of taste! The service was excellent too. Thanks

Food was great. Had chicken karahi, lentil stew with pulled lamb and the lamb shank Byriani. All the meat fell off the bone and naans were great.Everything was spiced perfectly. Service 10/10

I don’t write reviews normally. Tastiest haleem and shawarma I have had in a long time. Worth a visit. Take away service too. Reserve uma mesa agora

Nice and beautifully cooked Biryani. My friend ate Mandi, which he loved it. As the meat looked freshly cooked. Keep it up.

The food is amazing, staff very friendly. Order doesn’t take time to serve. Price is good as well . Highly recommend
