If I could give this place a zero rating, I would. There is nothing authentic about your food. I’d get more authentic out of a patek sauce bottle. If you like purée, frozen prawns, frozen chicken that has been cubed up, reheated curry and rice then go for your life. Both chicken curries tasted the same even though they’re from different regions in India and the prawn korma was green with 6 small frozen prawns in it. The ‘prawn curry’ was inedible. It is now all in the bin and we won’t be returning. Disgusting
Small and friendly suburban restaurant. Service was a bit slow, but we were having a good time, so not a real problem for us. We had five people for dinner, so got to order a nice variety of appetizers, mains and breads. The restaurant is BYO. Vegetable samosas and chicken tikka appe tisers were especially good. The chicken vindaloo, the chicken madras and the prawn curry were the highlights. All of the breads were good.
Eight of us enjoyed our visit. The restaurant is pleasant. We all found the starters and mains tasty. Service was cheerful but rather slow. Some of us were well into our main dishes while others had to wait.Our naan breads arrived as we were finishing our main courses. As visitors from UK we were interested in the very different interpretations of the meals we have at home. The prawn biriyani was delicious.
We live close and we’re looking for dinner after a long day. We went on a mid week night sort of late but we’re super impressed with both the meals and service. Will be going back with the family next time. Great vegan selections too. Keep room for the mango lassi. New owners in the last 18 months
