Extra star for good service.I like the duck head and wings but not my mom. Had to admit it's a little overly salty, but fits my weird craving sometimes, so I'll come back again.Tried the vermicelli soup, dumplings, and shumai. Both dumpling and shumai are too fatty to my taste(too much lard). It's interesting using sticky rice as filling in shumai and the flavor is good, worth to try if you like a super carb-bomb. (I do Ha). Like the vermicelli soup too. The liver is too much for my taste (too gamey) but everything else tastes good. Soup is a bit too salty to my mom.The sever is always nice. Too bad the location is semi open so it's too hot during summer time, so only to-go so far. I do like...

I visited Nanjing Salted Duck without expecting to when walking through the supermarket that houses it. I wasn't in the mood for salted duck, but they had an advertisement for 50 dumplings for $22.00. That's quite a bit of dumplings, but I wanted to support their small business. I got the beef ones. I have to admit, they're definitely on the smaller end, and compared to some in the frozen foods section of any supermarket, I would say it is pretty expensive. They were quite simple and tasty in soup, but a good number of them were broken or frozen in clusters. I will admit though, that most of them run very salty. I'm not sure if I am fortunate that some are broken before putting into the soup...

Their attitude is very unpleasant. The boss is an especially harsh old lady who keeps shouting at my child, telling my child not to go near their broken glass. Their glass has been broken for a long time, posing a serious safety hazard. The first time she screamed at my child about the broken glass, we appreciated her reminder, but suddenly, she started shouting very loudly at my child. My child did nothing wrong, just standing near that broken glass cabinet. She is definitely maliciously shouting at my child, and her heart is very wicked. Their food tastes pretty mediocre, but the prices are through the roof. And let me tell you, the place is a real dump – the floors are all sticky and gros...

The roasted duck is dry overpriced. Non Chinese are not welcome just by looking at their menu advertising are written in Chinese only. Im going back to my favorite KIM TAR on Valley bl near Hacienda bl in City of Industry. KIM TAR has the best Cantonese roasted duck , crispy, juicy, good price. Servers are nice, friendly, speaks English, menu is in English Chinese.
