Nantucket Shrimp Shack

Placed an online take out order on a Friday night, 2 hours before scheduled pickup. We got to the restaurant about 15 mins before pickup time, gave the host our name and they said they were still working on it. About 30 mins goes by(15 mins after scheduled pick up time), we ask if they have an update on the orders, host said they would go check. Came back a few mins later and said it was being put together now. There was one other person waiting for an order and one family dining in, no other patrons, so it was not like the kitchen was overwhelmed with orders. 45 mins after the scheduled pickup time the cook comes out and puts it on a table right by the kitchen and walks back into kitchen, I...

When we arrived there was two tables full. Restaurant is attached to a hotel. Our waiter was quick to get our drinks and order. However we wait a LONG time for our food considered there were hardly any people in there at the time, plus our waiter never showed us to refill our drinks or update us. Once the food came out, only about half of the group had their food arrive. Restaurant was clean and staff friendly. Food was good. I just wouldn't recommend unless you have a long time to kill.

My husband and I are from out of State and decided to give this place a try, and we were not disappointed! The service was fast, our server was great, food was delicious. We ordered boom boom shrimp as an appetizer (never heard or tasted boom boom sauce before) but it was delicious! I ordered clams with linguini and my husband ordered coconut shrimp. If you're looking food great service and food try this place out.

We came on a Tuesday evening, so I guess that’s why it was mostly empty. The food was very good, hot, fresh and a variety of seafood choices were on the menu. No complaints!Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp at the door.

Had shrimp with Mac and cheese very good and crispy shrimp, Mac and cheese very tasty also had the crab clams and mussels corn sausage and potatoes bowl. My guy eat All...Food: 4/5
