Neue Regensburger Hutte

We came from the valley after a fair piece of early snow, which made the routes between the huts uncertain. The cottage was almost empty (only 4 stays), but it did not stop the Huttenwirt from making so much effort for us (e.g. to make a wonderfully full and tasty breakfast selection) as it for a normal supplement of the overnight stays. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, the team was enthusiastic, with good English, the room was very comfortable indeed. I especially enjoyed the luxury of a hot shower in the morning. The family took over the New Regensburger a few years ago and deserves to do it very well. An extension will be planned in 2018. We look forward to a new visit an...

This hut is like a trip back at least 50 years. It's a small, family run place with mealtimes at very specific times. You won't run into much English speaking here, and it seemed to have a unique way of billing and management. This was my first stay in a mountain hut so it was a little confusing. Luckily I speak German, if you don't, I wouldn't recommend this hut as a first hut.That being said, the location is amazing. It sits on the edge of a cliff above a waterfall. It has a very old school charm. We enjoyed our stay.

Luckily, I would not recommend this cottage as the first cottage. That means the situation is amazing. It sits at the edge of a cliff above a waterfall. It has a very old school charm. We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly staff and a very good carving! The one thing that could have been better; go a bit of vegetables/seal with the scavenger.
